So if you have read my previous posts you would know I was really dreading it and tried all sorts of ways just to avoid doing it and find alternative.
Well I did the root canal treatment on my pre molar tooth with Dr ONG ENG YAU from tp dental.
It requires 2 sessions.
So the second session is coming up.

Update: he’s really good and emphathetic towards the patient. I have no further comments about him. Price charged is reasonable for a specialist. I recommend him.

ReplyDeleteCant remember the exact price right now, but it's slightly less than $900 for root canal. But I remember the exact price for the crowning though. It is $2,140.

ReplyDeleteYes I asked specialist as well. Too traumatized by lousy dentists to do fillings, so I decided I better find a good dentist for complex things like root canal and crowning. Yes normal dentist can do root canal and crown though.
ReplyDeleteby the way, I think they charge very expensive. Not just because he is a specialist, but also the clinic itself is also more towards the premium side. You can tell that they invested a lot in décor etc etc. So the premium charges also go to these :( I am still not sure whether the work done is worth this money, it better!

DeleteHi May i know if i was quoted 1200-1800 for redoing root canal on molar tooth with endodontist is reasonable ? (1st root canal 5 yrs ago with dentist reinfected)
ReplyDeletesorry for the late reply! 1200-1800 is a huge range though. i think 1200 is reasonable maybe not so much for 1800? my friends never get quoted as high as 1800 before. (that's assuming the price given does not include crowning) if includes crowning then yeah it's fine!
